Charlie Kirk Shooting: Fresh Footage Reveals Suspect Running Off Roof

Authorities have released new details in the investigation of the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, who was killed on September 10 while attending an event at Utah Valley University.

During a Friday press conference, Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason revealed surveillance footage showing the suspect’s movements on the roof of the building. The individual was first spotted lying prone in the top-left corner before moving across to the far-right corner, running behind a structure, and eventually climbing off the edge to escape.

Investigators reported that the suspect left behind palm impressions, a forearm print, and a shoe print at the scene. DNA evidence may be collected from smudges discovered in the area. It has also been confirmed that the suspect was wearing Converse sneakers.

The video further shows the suspect dressed in black pants and a black T-shirt featuring an American flag with what appears to be an eagle on it. He also appeared to be wearing a baseball cap with a triangle design. Authorities say these distinct features could assist the public in identifying the individual.

The investigation remains ongoing, with law enforcement urging anyone with information to come forward.
