Tejeswar Parida’s journey in public life is defined by clarity, conviction, and a deep commitment to public service. As the State Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the founder of both CPGA and Yuva Odisha, he has emerged as a prominent voice shaping Odisha’s evolving political discourse.
Parida is the Founder and Chairman of the Centre for Policy, Governance and Advocacy (CPGA), a platform dedicated to studying public issues and translating them into constructive policy recommendations. Over the years, CPGA has earned consistent respect among those who track governance, reforms, and development in Odisha. He was the Students’ Union President of the prestigious Delhi School of Social Work, Delhi University, and he also served as President of the Delhi Odia Students’ Association.

Equally significant is Yuva Odisha, the youth-driven platform he established to promote civic awareness, leadership development, and community participation. What began as a modest initiative today functions as a dynamic network empowering young people to engage meaningfully with public life.
Before these roles, Parida served as President of the Odisha Khadi & Village Industries Board, where he championed rural entrepreneurship, traditional crafts, and livelihood generation for village communities.
In 2024, he contested the Patkura Assembly seat. Though the electoral result did not go in his favor, the campaign cemented his connection with the constituency. Long days in villages, conversations with farmers, interactions with self-help groups, and on-ground experience gave him a deeper understanding of people’s expectations. Parida often describes the experience not as a setback but as a source of direction and clarity.
Today, he remains active in discussions on development, transparency, governance, and youth participation. Whether representing a political viewpoint, drafting a policy note, or voicing public concerns, Parida works with an unwavering belief that leadership is built through constant engagement with people.
His journey—from institutional leadership to policy advocacy to electoral politics—continues to evolve. Shaped by learning, resilience, and a forward-looking vision for Odisha, Tejeswar Parida stands as one of the voices defining the state’s new political imagination.
