Five infiltrators were on Saturday shot dead by the Border Security Force (BSF) troops along the Indo Pak border in Punjab. The pursuit activity is right now going on.

“soldiers of 103 unit of BSF saw dubious development of interlopers disregarding International Border along Tarn Taran, Punjab.Upon being tested to stop,intruders terminated upon BSF troops who fought back in self-protection. Resultantly,5 interlopers were shot. Search operations on,” the BSF said in an announcement.
The infiltrators were attempting to enter the Indian side through the Khemkaran outskirt zone in Tarn Taran region when they were spotted by the BSF watch group, authorities said.
The incident occurred around 4:45 am, news office PTI revealed citing a BSF official.
An escalated search activity along the front is in progress.
