PM Modi speaks to US president Joe Biden, invites him to India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to US President Joe Biden. This is the first meeting between the two leaderss of state since Biden took office as president. The two leaders have reportedly discussed peace and security.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself tweeted about the issue that had been discussed with Joe Biden. “I have spoken to Joe Biden and congratulated him on his success,” he tweeted. We talked about regional issues. Agreements have also been made to increase cooperation on climate change. Modi also invited US president Joe Biden and first lady to India.

The Prime Minister added that he and the President of the United States have been working to strengthen the strategic partnership for peace and security in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond. Biden was sworn in as president of the United States on January 20. After he was sworn in, Modi tweeted and congratulated him.
