Prime Minister Narendra Modi Reaches Rome To Attend The G20 Summit

To attend the G20 Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Rome. The Summit is an important forum to deliberate on key global issues and PM Modi will visit to attend the important multilateral gatherings like the G20org and COP26 and there will be various bilateral and community-related programs.

According to the reports, this will be PM Modi’s third foreign visit amid the Covid-19 pandemic after Bangladesh in March and the US in September. After the G20 Summit ends on October 31, PM Modi will depart for Glasgow to attend the 26th Conference of Parties (COP-26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). There will also be various bilateral and community-related programmes during this visit.

Following the conclusion of the G20 Summit on October 31, PM Modi will depart for Glasgow to attend the 26th Conference of Parties (COP26). PM Modi said “I will be participating in the high-level segment of COP26 titled World Leaders’ Summit’ (WLS) on November 1-2, 2021, along with 120 Heads of States/Governments from around the world. In line with our tradition of living in harmony with nature and culture of deep respect for the planet, we are taking ambitious action on expanding clean and renewable energy, energy efficiency, afforestation and biodiversity.”
