Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik dedicated 138 ‘Transformed Schools’ to the people of the State and especially students. These schools transformed under the 5-T initiative are from Boudh, Sonepur, Bhadrak, and Keonjhar. While 100 schools were transformed in Keonjhar, 10 in Boudh, 11 in Sonepur and 17 in Bhadrak districts.
On the occasion of Children’s Day on November 14, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik dedicated these 138 transformed schools to the state. He stated that a new age for the development of the education system has started in Odisha. Education is the stepping stone of transformation. The ongoing school transformation initiative has instilled confidence and excitement among students. During the first phase till November 24, Odisha will have a total of 1,075 transformed schools.

Ministers Premananda Nayak, Niranjan Pujari, MLAs Pradeep Amat, Byomkesh Ray were present on the occasion. The meeting was coordinated by Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian. Chairperson of Mo School Susmita Bagchi, Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra and senior officials also attended.

CM Patnaik further added that he wants the students of Odisha to be ahead in all the fields and the students should dream big and be prepared to face all challenges in life. This is the primary objective of the school transformation initiative.
