Indian Cricket Team will soon fly to South Africa to play 3 test matches and 3 ODI’s. The test series is very important on Indian perspective as Team India has never won a test series against South Africa in South Africa. However, the team is fully potent with great batsmen and fast bowlers to get the series this time. However, there is just one uncertainty of who will be the next Vice- Captain of Indian Test Team.
Virat Kohli with his great captaincy records will continue to enjoy the captaincy of Indian Test Cricket Team. However, the dilemma of selectors is over the vice-captaincy. While Ajinkya Rahane has been in the post for several years, his recent form his quite poor and even he might not be a definite start in the playing 11. Thererby, selectors might give vice captain role to the new T20 captain of India Rohit Sharma who is also in prime Red Ball form.
The India tour to South Africa will start from December 26 and will continue till January 23rd. India will play 3 tests followed by 3 Odi’s during this time.
