Schools reopen in Kashmir from Wednesday

Kashmir schools open after a year's break due to Covid-19 | Deccan Herald

We can finally see joyous faces in Kashmir since  Wednesday as children finally got a chance to go to schools . This happened after the lockdown and children did not go school for around 3 years now.

The schools were  closed after the abrogation of Article 370 on 5th August 2019 and later due to the Covid pandemic. Students could be reunited with their friends and teachers after a very long gap.

There are several rules and precautionairy measures  inJammu and Kashmir. It has been made compulsory by the Government to all the  students to follow Covid protocols.
Students of secondary and higher secondary — who are usually in the age group of 15 to 18 years were told to carry their vaccination certificates so that entry is given at the gates.

” We hope the education of the student is not affected anymore”- said the teacher.
