Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) received five gold medals at the International Convention on Quality Control Circles -22 (ICOCC) held in Jakarta, Indonesia from November 15th to November 18th. Five JSP Kaizen (Change for Good) teams, four from Angul and one from Tensa, known as Panther, Shakti, Kaushal, Dynamic, and Sparta, comprised 14 engineers and won the highest category awards in their respective fields.
The International Quality Circle and Allied Concepts Conference (ICQCC) is the highest recognition forum in the world for Quality Circle and Allied Concepts, and this year 757 participants from 14 countries attended to demonstrate their unique skills
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), a Japanese methodology, is used throughout JSP’s plants, and employees are consistently engaged in this improvement process by applying TPM concepts.
In addition to the foregoing, Mr. Bhuwan Pratap-AVP & Head, Central TPM/TQM/Energy Mgmt of the Company qualified to become an ICQCC Certified Judge and participated as a Judge in ICQCC-22 for evaluation of case studies presented by industries from around the world, with the exception of JSP-Group Company.
