Anil Mishra is one of the pioneering figures in the Indian cement industry. A graduate in mechanical engineering, he boasts of 26 years of rich and varied industry experience. Currently, the unit head of JSW Cement at Sundargarh, Mr Mishra had previous stints with notable names in the cement industry like Shree Cement and Dalmia Cement.
He has been instrumental in setting up of cement plant of state of the art technology with an investment of Rs 1100 crore. This project will bring a lot of direct and indirect employment in Sundargarh district and people of the nearby area will be benefited. Mishra’s forte lies in planning and effectuating preventive & predictive maintenance practices of various machinery & process plants to increase machine-up time and equipment reliability power and fuel-saving initiatives.
In the realm of project management, he has handled project activities involving in project execution, working out various requirements with respect to utilities, equipment, and manpower & monitoring overall project operations for ensuring timely completion, coordinating plant activities for the setup standards with accountability for strategic utilization & deploying the available resources to achieve organizational objectives and executing cost saving and energy saving techniques/measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M Expenditures and worked within the budget.
