The total number of cases involving Covid was 4.46 crore (4,46,98,118).The number of active cases has risen to 7026, making up 0.02% of all infections, and the case fatality rate was 1.19%. The weekly positivity rate was 0.98%, while the daily positivity rate was 1.09%. 4.46 crore cases of Covid-19 have now been reported overall (4,46,98,118). The figures from the health ministry showed that the death toll increased by five, to 5,30,813, with one fatality each reported by Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, and Maharashtra, and one reconciled by Kerala. Recovery cases have increased to 4,416,279, with a national recovery rate of 98.80%.
1,03,831 of the 92.05 crore Covid-19 tests that have been completed thus far have been completed in the previous 24 hours. 220.65 crore doses of the Covid vaccination have been given to residents, according to the ministry’s website. Despite the increase in instances, the government has maintained vigilance as viral influenza cases have also increased nationwide, and the symptoms are identical to those of Covid-19, including a sore throat, fever, body aches, and exhaustion.
