PTI, Bengaluru: According to PTI, A serious Explosion happened at a popular café The Rameshwaram in Bengaluru’s White field on today,5 people at least injured for this blast.
The cause of the blast was initially suspected of cylinder explosion, However that was ruled out by the police, An IED Blast is now being investigated, Senior officials including Karnataka DGP, And INTEL head were also present at the spot along with Dogs and bomb squared.
According to police Officials There is no immediate word on the exact number of injured, But at least five persons has been admitted to hospital, That explosion case At the popular café at kundanahalli led to a blaze, Police officials and Fire team rushed to the spot and rescued them. “We received a call about a cylinder blast in Rameshwaram cafe. Immediately, a fire engine was rushed to the spot. Initial suspicions are that it is a cylinder blast. However, it is being ascertained. It is a minor blast and we have shifted those injured to the hospital. The incident occurred between 1.30 and 2 pm. We are probing it from all angles,” PTI quoted a police officer as saying. Meanwhile, BJP’s Tejasvi Surya called the explosion a “clear case of bomb blast.”
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “Just spoke to Rameshwaram Café founder Sri Nagaraj about the blast in his restaurant. He informed me that the blast occurred because of a bag that was left by a customer and not any cylinder explosion. One of their employees is injured. It’s seems to be a clear case of bomb blast. Bengaluru demands clear answers from CM @siddaramaiah.”
