Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, AAP leader Dilip Pandey, and other party members were detained on Saturday while protesting outside Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena’s residence regarding the bus marshals issue. The protest comes after Saxena terminated the services of the bus marshals in October of last year, prompting them to demand reinstatement.
On the same day, VK Saxena met with the bus marshals. Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, accompanied by AAP and BJP MLAs, visited Saxena’s office to submit a note advocating for the reinstatement of the marshals, which had been approved in a recent cabinet meeting.
During the discussions, BJP MLAs met with Atishi regarding the reinstatement issue, and she urged them to join a delegation that would present the note to the L-G for his approval.
