Anubhav Mohanty refutes mediation offer to resolve issue with Varsha

Anubhav-Barsha Controversy: Court Orders Barsha To Leave Anubhav's House

Anubhav Mohanty, an actor-turned-politician, is not interested in participating in any kind of mediation in the ongoing court case involving his estranged wife Varsha Priyadarshini and their marital problems. In relation to this, MP Anubhav has submitted an affidavit to the Cuttack family court. Actress Varsha, on the other hand, stated that she would feel at ease in either scenario, mediator or not.

According to sources, Anubhav and Varsha both showed up in person before the family court on Tuesday. The judge spoke with the pair individually about the case in his chamber.

The judge had spent more than two hours on the previous occasion discussing a possible reconciliation. With hopes of finding a solution, a new date was set. The court accepted Anubhav’s petition and set a date for further proceedings after he clarified that he had no interest in compromise.

“The court did not set a new hearing date because he believed there was a prospect of reconciliation. Honourable Judge today presided over the reconciliation process in his chamber. It was determined, however, that there was no room for reconciliation. Cross-examination and trials will thus be part of the next round of hearings on that day. An affidavit has been submitted to record specific facts, according to Saswat Acharya, Anubhav’s attorney.

Varsha’s lawyer, Siddharth Das, stated that she wants a correction made to a section that was authored by Delhi jurisdiction. We have pushed for more time for improvement. The next date will be announced by the court after it has given the matter some thought. Varsha has stated that she will support the settlement in full.
