According to the business’s 11th Tax Transparency Report, Vedanta Limited, the top diversified natural resources company in India, gave the exchequer ₹62,722 crore in FY26. The study reaffirms Vedanta’s unwavering dedication to transparent government and nation-building. The contribution, which accounts for 36% of the business’s total operating revenue, is crucial to India’s economic growth.
Vedanta has contributed ₹4,83,034 crore to the exchequer during the preceding 10 years, a 13.3% rise over the previous year. The business has shown an unshakable commitment to nation-building, fiscal restraint, and the Viksit Bharat objective. The Group is one of the top 3* private sector contributors to the national coffers in India.
Following Vedanta’s record-breaking financial success in FY26, the company made this donation to the exchequer. Profit After Tax (PAT) increased 22% to ₹25,096 crore, EBITDA increased 29% to ₹55,976 crore, and revenue increased 15% to ₹1,74,075 crore, the biggest in the company’s history. Net Debt to EBITDA improved to 0.95x from 1.22x, its highest level in 14 quarters, indicating a considerable strengthening of the balance sheet. Robust operational performance throughout Vedanta’s diverse portfolio, which includes zinc-lead-silver, aluminum, copper, iron ore, steel, power, nickel, chrome, and oil and gas, was the primary driver of the company’s outstanding financial success.
Zinc remained the largest contributor at ₹19,053 crore, followed by Aluminium (now listed as Vedanta Aluminium) at ₹15,788 crore and Oil & Gas (now listed as Vedanta Oil & Gas) at ₹11,697 crore – a reflection of the breadth and diversification of Vedanta’s portfolio across critical minerals and energy.
