Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s push to become a powerhouse of clean energy in eastern India gathered fresh momentum this week, as industrialist Karan Adani led a high-level delegation from the Adani Group into back-to-back meetings with the state’s top leadership, signalling one of the most ambitious energy investment pitches the state has seen in recent years.
On Thursday, Adani met Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Loka Seva Bhawan to discuss ongoing and proposed industrial projects. He then met Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo at Kharavel Bhavan, where discussions focused on prospects in the renewable energy sector.
A Blueprint Worth rs. 1.5 Lakh Crore
Senior Adani Group representatives presented an investment plan worth Rs 1.5 lakh crore to the Deputy Chief Minister, underlining the group’s interest in strengthening Odisha’s renewable and low-emission power ecosystem.
