The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust is all set to lay the foundation stone from 3rd august to 5th august. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited to inaugurate the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya on 5th august.

According to the spokesperson of Ram Mandir Trust, the visit of Prime Minister on 5th August is based on the calculation of movements of stars and planets.

Earlier two dates were referred for this grand Bhoomi Pujan – 3rd August or 5th august, where both the dates were auspicious for the ceremony. Even senior party leader Lal Krishna Advani may also likely to accompany the Prime Minister for the ceremony.

The ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ will be performed with placing of a 40 kg silver brick at the sanctum Santorum. The three days ceremony will be held with Vedic rituals conducted by priests from Varanasi.

These priests were also overseeing the shifting of the Ram Lalla idol to the new structure. The Ramacharya Puja will be conducted on 4th August. Even Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aadityanath will also be accompanying this ceremony.

The temple will also have an elegant museum where people will witness the archaeological artefacts shovelled from the Ram Janmabhoomi site. There are around 400 centuries-old artefacts, presently housed inside a 25×50 square feet shed on the site. Also, there are scores of porcelain and collectables in Manas Bhavan.

According to the trustee, it has been decided that the Ram Mandir would have a height of 161 feet long along with five domes. There was a long discussion regarding the construction and designs for the temple.

The temple would be designed by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Approximately three and a half year will be taken to complete the whole construction of the temple.

On 9th November 2019, the Constitution Bench of Supreme Court gave their verdict as the entire disputed area in Ayodhya to the Hindu Parties. Whereas the SC ordered that an alternative 5 Acres of Land in Ayodhya would be given to the Sunni Central Waqf Board for the construction of the mosque.
