When the Governor – Government faceoff became an highlighting issue, R.N Ravi Tamil Nadu spilled to the streets. Protests were held by DMK, Cadre, Allies and members of Tamil Outfits and college students.In Coimbatore, one of the BJP’s strongholds, Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam (TPDK) activists assembled in front of the statue of social reformer E V R Periyar at Gandhipuram and sang anti-governor chants, setting the tone for the day.It was instructed by the Chief minister MK Stalin to the partymen to stop attacking the Governor.
