At just 27, Shikhar Pahariya is demonstrating how entrepreneurship can be a powerful tool for social change. As the grandson of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, Shikhar has carved out his own path, blending business innovation with a commitment to community development. His entrepreneurial journey began with Indiawyn Gaming, where he launched Jeetoh, India’s first live-interaction gaming platform, which attracted over a million users during its beta phase. After successfully exiting this venture, Shikhar turned his focus to sustainable real estate development through his company, Basilius, completing over 7 lakh square feet of projects across Gujarat and Goa, all with a vision of fostering both economic and social growth.
Shikhar’s dedication extends beyond business. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he provided ration kits to 3,000 families for six months, and earlier, he organized 1,300 water tankers during a severe drought in Solapur. His philanthropic efforts reflect a deep commitment to serving the communities that have shaped him. Inspired by his grandfather’s public service, Shikhar’s guiding principle is to “serve the people—don’t let them serve you.” Whether leading in real estate, supporting social causes, or enjoying sports like polo, Shikhar remains grounded in his values, balancing his ambitious career with a love for nature and sportsmanship.
