Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena today started the Induction Training Programme for OAS (DR) – 2020 batch probationers.
One of the 129 OAS Probationers who have attended the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration for training is from the OAS (DR)-2020 cohort, while the other is from the OAS (DR)-2018 class.
The class consists of 56 women and 73 men. From June 26 to November 24, the Induction Training Programme will last 22 weeks.
Jena, the event’s Chief Guest, urged the probationers, who will be serving the government for about 30 to 35 years, to lead Odisha from transition to transformative changes through continuous acquisition of knowledge, internalizing the 5T approach, innovative thinking, efficient service delivery, optimizing resources, ensuring quality, and strictly adhering to the Odisha Government Conduct Rules.
He emphasized that, under a life cycle perspective, learning is a continual process that begins with early nurturing and mentorship. It continues with fidelity to the government system throughout the service duration through self-learning, innovations, and reviews.
Gopabandhu Academy of Administration gives young administrative officers opportunity and equips them to instill these habits and practices.
He praised the current GAA DG’s creative attempts to improve the quality of teaching and learning experiences despite constraints.
