Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi instructed Secretaries of all departments to accelerate development projects and raise plan expenditure in order to spur growth and generate job opportunities during a high-level meeting. Majhi underlined the necessity for departments to increase technical staffing and step up program execution, particularly those in charge of infrastructure development. He emphasized that in order to accomplish the goals for 2036 and 2047, cooperation between state government agencies is crucial.
Principal Secretary of the Finance Department Shashwat Mishra also gave a comparative income and expense account for April–July 2023–24 and 2024–25 at the meeting. In the current financial year, the overall income from April to July was Rs 57,085 crore, compared to Rs 51,234 crore in the same period last year. Mishra disclosed in a presentation that this sum is 11.42 percent greater than the revenue for the same time previous year. Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, Development Commissioner Anu Garg, and Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Nikunj Bihari Dhal were among the senior officials in attendance.
