Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today approved 150 multi-purpose cultural-cum-community centers for the state’s minority communities.
Patnaik stated that this will go a long way toward preserving the culture and heritage of our state’s minority communities.
A total of Rs 45 crore has been set aside for this purpose in 22 districts. These include Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, and Sikh community centers.
This will contribute to the creation of space in Multi-Purpose Cultural-cum-Community Centres for Minority Communities to engage in various community-based activities.
