Today, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik extended an invitation to writer, entrepreneur, and celebrity chef Vikas Khanna to travel to Odisha. In his video conference with Khanna, Patnaik reiterated his invitation. Following the installation of a lavish replica of the Konark Sun Temple wheel at Times Square in New York on the occasion of India’s Independence Day, Khanna recently became the talk of the town.
During his conversation with Patnaik, Khanna was quite complimentary about the art, architecture, culture, legacy, and culinary customs of Odisha. He told the Chief Minister about his wonderful spiritual encounter at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri. He expressed his opinion that Odisha is developing quickly and strongly commended the Chief Minister for his strong and visionary leadership and humanistic perspective.
He opined that the Konark Wheel is the symbol of universal unity. The Chief Minister also appreciated Khanna’s creativity and entrepreneurial spirit and invited him to visit Odisha. 5T Secretary VK Pandian was present during the discussion.
