Coca-Cola India has now partnered with the renowned Darjeeling tea plantation to introduce a tea that is ready to drink.Honest, a division of the Coca-Cola Company, is the owner of the brand. At the seventh Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) today, the two firms inked an MoU in this regard.
More beverage options for consumers were the goal of the launch, according to a senior Coca-Cola India & Southwest Asia official.In a statement, Karthik Subramanian, director of marketing for Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia’s hydration, coffee, and tea categories, stated, “We are thrilled to introduce our new ready-to-drink iced green tea.” We are providing customers with a superb tasting, one-of-a-kind green tea-based beverage experience with Honest Tea.
The iced green tea will be available in mango and lemon-tulsi flavours, and in the long run, they hope to compete with Tata and other mainstream competitors.
