We caught up with Bandan Mohanty, Founder Director of Archid Builders, to know more about the venture, challenges encountered & much more.
Today, Archid Builders is a popular brand in the field of real estate in Odisha. How has your journey been so far?
It has been truly incredible! We have seen many challenges, ups, and downs but have never given up to achieve our goals. This year, we are celebrating 15 years of our journey in the real estate sector & we believe we will achieve more than this in the coming years.
Tell us about your maiden project, your experience & confidence while delivering it to the customers?
This year, we are launching a high-end ultra luxury project, which is in itself a statement holder and talk of the town so far. We always deliver the best, and this time, we will only do what we are really good at.
What are the USPs of Archid Builders that set it apart from other real estate brands?
We believe in transparency and quality. The most vital thing is that it is someone’s hard earned money, and we need to know our customers’ requirements and value over pitching our projects to them. We give our best possible service to ensure that they remember us for a lifetime.
How do you foresee the current situation in the real estate sector in the Odisha post pandemic?
During the pandemic, it was survival of the fittest, and now the process is also intact. But now, the rate of investing in real estate is more than before. They want a permanent settlement or investing their money in real estate so that they can reap good profits in the coming years. So, for us, it’s a win-win situation at all times.
What are your suggestions to strengthen the sector considering the State Govts’ interest to boost it to make it an industry?
We want to appeal the state government. to provide more exposure to this industry to bring in world-class architectures and construction methods. So we can understand, learn, and apply in our stage to amaze the world.
What is your opinion on the rising demand of properties in the heart of Bhubaneswar as it becomes increasingly a nightmare for middle-class Indian families to own a property?
Yes, we understand the fact. But it’s undeniable that Bhubaneswar is one of the fastest growing cities in India today. We are getting international funds to startup’s. Many multi-national companies are setting their base in Bhubaneswar, and many more iconic projects are on the pipeline as well. So the investment itself will double within a small span of time. But if someone plans accordingly with a disciplined investment plan, they can buy a good property in Bhubaneswar.
You are a man of myriad ideas & vision, even a classic example of true taste of success stories. What’s your mantra of peace & happiness?
For me, it is the happiness to see a smile on others’ faces. We not only create hope but also build its pillar. In my opinion, a lifetime achievement is when you give a family a better life. And we have been exactly doing the same from the start.
Finally, what’s your business strategy to stay relevant in today’s business world?
Just be true to yourself, and the rest will be a history. Milestones are never created overnight. Success is earned by hard work and constant efforts. Just continue your hard work & you will reach your destination one day!
