Waving towards you because you are so occupied with ensuring we have the lives that we dream of. You are engrossed in keeping the lights on and keeping the engine of our lives revving. I wonder if you ever take a break?
Those breaks of a week or ten days to recharge the batteries refresh the mind, and spend time with us. I wonder if you’ve ever taken them in the last two decades. I have also been engrossed so much in life, that this thought never crossed my mind. Even Mom thinks we are due a vacation.
Hey Dad, you are amazing! Packing in so much of life per day, and smiling despite the stress at the office and in some situations in life. You seem to be unfazed by the challenges life throws at you, and everyone in the family has the highest respect for you. You take everyone along and never make people smile and take the load of others on you.
I have seen thousands come to our house and leave with a smile and a lot of hope in their heart.
Your approach to life and ability to sit down in the evening with a warm coffee and the newspaper and still stay sane; wow, that requires a salute!
