Odisha saw the highest spike of COVID cases in the last 15 days. 286 patients were tested positive in the last 24 hours, against 195 the previous day. The state had reported 255 on Wednesday, 151 on Tuesday, 105 on Monday, 189 on Sunday and 193 cases on Saturday.
Khurda reported the highest of 147 new cases which equals to nearly 51 percent of the cases. It was followed by Mayurbhanj at 21. While 12 districts registered new cases in single-digit, it was nil in 14 districts.
