Delhi-Bound Vistara Flight Makes Emergency Landing In Bhubaneswar

Due to inclement weather, a Vistara aeroplane heading for Delhi had to make an emergency landing at Bhubaneswar’s Biju Patnaik International Airport on Wednesday. Ten minutes after takeoff, the Bhubaneswar-Delhi flight (UK 788) made an emergency landing at Bhubaneswar Airport.

The flight’s windshield was reportedly shattered by a hailstorm brought on by Kalabaisakhi, which pounded the twin city and other regions of the state. According to Prasanna Pradhan, director of the airport, all 169 passengers are safe. Pradhan continued, “Arrangements are being made to send all of the passengers on another flight.”
