While COVID cases are continuously dipping across India, several state governments are letting things get back to normal. The AAP government of Delhi has announced the reopening of Schools and Colleges from February 7, 2022.
In a COVID-19 review meeting held today, on February 4, 2022, Delhi Disaster Management Authority, DDMA has announced that schools in Delhi would reopen for classes 9 to 12 and detailed orders are awaited. Along with this, the timings of Night Curfew in Delhi have also been revised.
Guidelines For Schools And Colleges In Delhi
- All colleges and coaching institutes have been allowed to reopen from the mentioned date.
- Schools would only function in offline mode for students of classes 9 to 12. For others, online classes would continue.
- Vaccination of teachers has been made mandatory and those who are not vaccinated, will not be allowed on campus.
- Along with this, timings of night curfew have also been eased
