A 10-member delegation from the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Delhi has applauded the school transformation initiative of the Odisha Government and praised the state for undertaking several initiatives to up-skill students and teachers of government and aided schools of Odisha.
During their visit to the state office of Mo School on Friday, the team led by Ms Preeti khatri, Nodal Officer (International and National Exposure), SCERT, Delhi also appreciated the reforms brought in by the state government as part of its comprehensive policy. “The transformed schools of Odisha have been equipped with smart digital equipment and it’s heartening to see that teachers and students of rural Odisha schools are being trained with advanced technologies and 21st-century skills. The High School Transformation Programme of the Odisha Government is a game-changer initiative in the education sector as it ensures inclusive and equitable education to students from all backgrounds. Here, high schools are equipped with infrastructure, basic resource materials and separate spaces for conducting visual & performing arts to promote art and culture at the school level. The Mo School Abhiyan of the Odisha Government is a unique and one-its-kind initiative in the country. The way alumni are being connected with their alma mater and contributing towards the development of their schools is exemplary,” the delegation quoted while addressing the team.
