Karande and Dr. GV Rao, Chief staff Scientist, Dr. Ajay Prakash delved into cutting-edge research at institutions like the Indian Institute of Science and the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics. His exploration of P53 expression in head and neck cancer and pioneering work on DNA fingerprinting for Amelogenin gene typing and HLA DQ gene typing, in human dental pulp underscore his commitment to unravelling the complexities of the field.

Transitioning seamlessly into academia, Dr. Prakash’s tenure as an Assistant Professor at K.G.F University of Dental Sciences and later as a Reader at Kamineni Institute of Dental Sciences showcased his prowess as a scholar and educator.
