Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Drops Anubhav As BJD National Spokesperson

Actor-MP Anubhav Mohanty is in new trouble as he has removed as the BJD National Spokesperson due to his divorce controversy.

The Meeting regarding the matter was conducted for three days after which the BJD State Executive and State Council, Party Leader Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik reconstituted the list of all the spokespersons where he removed numerous senior leaders which included MP Anubhav Mohanty. The reason behind his removal is because of the ongoing divorce case between his and his wife Varsha Priyadarshini where Varsha accused the MP of domestic violence and harassment.

There have been several complaints filed against the MP and his family by Varsha, and the ongoing divorce case has been making headlines since hew months.

Along with MP of Kendrapada, senior leader Satyanarayan Sahu is as a national spokesperson. Former ministers Debi Mishra and Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, former MLA Akash Das Nayak, senior leaders Bharadwaj Mishra and Subash Singh have also been removed from the list of spokespersons.

Rajya Sabha member Prasanna Acharya, Puri Lok Sabha member Pinaki Mishra, Kandhamal Lok Sabha member Achyuta Samanta, Rajya Sabha members Amar Patnaik and Sasmit Patra and Jajpur MP Sarmistha Sethi are thenewlyappointednationalspokespersonof BJD party.

According to the reports the 16 spokespersons which include Berhampur MP Chandrasekhar Sahu, Nabarangpur MP Ramesh Chandra Majhi, former ministers Pratap Keshari Deo Snehangini Chhuria,  MLA Byomakesh Ray and former legislators Raseswari Panigrahi and Anubhab Patnaik.

Lastly, CM Patnaik  also announced a 14-member team of media panellists to represent the party- BJD
