Dy CM KV Singh Deo Explores Solar-Powered Pumps For Improving Irrigation

On Thursday, at the Lok Seva Bhavan, representatives of the Royal Indian Company met with Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, the Deputy Chief Minister cum Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment and Energy Minister, to discuss the usage of solar-powered pumps for upgrading irrigation facilities in the state.

An official news release states that during the discussion, officials of the Royal Indian Company emphasized the advantages of employing solar-powered portable pumps for irrigation. These pumps may drastically lower electricity costs and offer farmers a sustainable alternative. They clarified that the pumps provide farmers with an affordable option by enabling them to get water from ponds, wells, and other natural water sources. These services have already been offered by Royal India Company in Jharkhand and other states, where the use of these technologies has increased agricultural output.

Appreciating the company’s efforts, Deputy Chief Minister Singh Deo underlined the State government’s dedication to improving irrigation systems for the benefit of the farmers in the state. He gave his word that all essential measures are being taken by the government to solve irrigation issues and to make it easier for new technology to be introduced and increase agricultural productivity.
