Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, Energy, Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo on Monday reviewed the ongoing road construction projects under the Works Department in Western Odisha. The review meeting was attended by Minister for Works, Law and Excise Prithiviraj Harichandan and Principal Secretary of the Works Department, Sanjay Kumar Singh.
During the meeting, Singh Deo assessed the progress of road and bridge construction works, with particular focus on Balangir and Subarnapur districts. Key projects under review included the Balangir, Subarnapur, and Patnagarh bypasses. He urged officials to accelerate the pace of work to ensure timely completion.

Singh Deo evaluated the state of road and bridge building at the conference, paying special attention to the districts of Balangir and Subarnapur. The Patnagarh, Subarnapur, and Balangir bypasses were among the major projects that were reviewed. In order to guarantee timely completion, he asked officials to quicken the pace of work.
