Empire State Building Lit Orange To Celebrate Diwali

Diwali is the festival of lights. It is celebrated all over the country with happiness and joy. Not only in India, Diwali is celebrated in various foreign countries also. The Empire State Building in New York City is decorated with orange lights on Diwali’s eve and released a video of it on twitter.  Which, of course, made it even more gorgeous.

 The Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) in three states of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, in conjunction with the Empire State Building, decorated the Manhattan building with orange lights on Friday in a joint effort on the purpose of Diwali.

 “Happy Diwali from New York,” the official twitter handle of Empire State Building tweeted on Diwali. Tonight we are celebrating the Festival of Lights by lighting the entire Manhattan building.  According to the FIA, the Diwali Soup Andy Kitchen has served 10,000 people in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.  Its purpose was to aware the people about Indian traditions, culture and customs related to the festival. The picture of the building decorated mesmerizingly, is being loved by millions of people worldwide.
