Fake medicine -Seized Telma-40 tablets Seized in Cuttack

In a major development in Cuttack fake medicine sale case, the laboratory test report confirmed that the seized drugs are fake. Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra informed that the seized drugs sold in the brand name of Telma-40 have been found to be fake following lab examination.

“Rs 12 lakh bank deposits of 2 accused have been frozen. We have collected many crucial data and further investigation is on,” said Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra.

Earlier on Thursday, a team of Drugs Control administration had conducted raids on two medicine stockists in Manighosh Bazaar area under Purighat police limits of Cuttack for allegedly selling duplicate medicines. Samples were collected and sent for laboratory tests.
