A speeding Mercedes crashed near Ambience Mall in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj on Sunday, leaving one person dead and two others seriously injured. Police identified the deceased as 23-year-old Rohit, who worked at the French bakery-café Paul inside Ambience Mall.
According to officials, Rohit was returning with two colleagues when the luxury car rammed into them at high speed. All three victims were employees of the popular café, where they had been working for several months.
While Rohit succumbed to his injuries, the other two workers are currently undergoing treatment. Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash and are examining CCTV footage from the area.
