Bhubaneshwar: The Student Gymkhana, IIT Bhubaneswar in association with St. John’s Ambulance, Odisha organized First Aid Training Programme which was conducted by Souls for Solace, the Social Welfare Society of IIT Bhubaneswar on December 21, Tuesday.
The event was was sectioned into two sessions of three hours each, with 120 participants in total, adhering to all the COVID protocol’s and institute SOP.
Under the guidance of Prof. R.V. Raja Kumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar, the event was addresed by Prof. P. V. Satyam, Dean Student Affairs and Dr. K.R. Mangipudi, Faculty Advisor Socio-cultural Council, Student Gymkhana.
The workshop got successful because of the strong support from the Dr. Srinivas Karanki, President Gymkhana, Swapnil More, Vice President Gymkhana, Krishna Mundra, General Secretary Socio-cultural council.
The whole team of Souls for Solace including Secretary, Pritam Sonwalkar played a vital role in making the programme a success which was beneficial for the students in IIT Bhubaneswar as first Aid training is basic skill set which everyone should be aware.
