Fuji Soft Group Proposes To Open ‘Centre of Excellence’ In Bhubaneswar

A high-level delegation headed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik resumed its intensive push into hard selling Odisha to a multitude of Business Delegations in Tokyo, Japan, for the third day as part of its ongoing drive to be the nation’s premier investment destination. An official news statement stated that the delegation carried on with its series of one-on-one talks in order to build on the first advances established in the previous few days in Tokyo.

The delegation, which consists of the Minister of Industries, MSME, and Energy, the Chief Secretary to the Government of Odisha, the Principal Secretaries for the Departments of Industries and E&IT, the Secretary to the CM, the Secretary for Sports and Youth Services, and the Managing Director of IPICOL, met with leaders in the fields of IT & ITES, Skill and Logistics, and Shipping Lines today. Names like Fuji Soft, NYK Lines, NITKAL, and Sumitomo Group were among the big players.

A comfortable hunting ground for all the marquee brands that are currently present in the state, Bhubaneswar has been buoyed by the consistent supply of software engineers and experienced workers in the aforementioned area. The projected CoE being opened by Fuji Soft will provide the already-expanding field the necessary boost. In order to meet the enormous need for a skilled workforce in Japan, NITKAL (Nihon-UTKAL) has partnered with OUTR (Odisha University of Technology & Research) to establish a specialized skill development center in the state. In order to construct a focused center for skill development in the relevant field that is focused on Japan, NITKAL (Nihon-UTKAL) is also continuing its discussions with IIIT.

The new dawn industries of green hydrogen and green ammonia continue to gain a lot of traction in terms of logistics and storage. In keeping with these contemporary objectives, the Chief Minister’s high-level delegation was received by two industry veterans. The block NYK Lines (Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha) first expressed a strong interest in establishing specialized shipping lines, beginning at the port-of-call Paradeep/Gopalpur/Dhamra to transport Green Ammonia to the nations that are committed to the greening of the said sector, especially the south east Asian countries all the way up to Japan.
