GST broke the all-time record last month. As of January 2021, the total GST collection has reached Rs 1,19,847 crore. The collection was reported as of the evening of 31.01.2011. Of this, CGST 21,923 crore, SGST 29,014 crore, IGST 60,288 crore (Rs and SES 8,722 crore. Between December 2020 and January 31, 2021, about 9 million people filed GSSTR-3B returns.
The government has set up Rs 24,531 crore CGST and Rs 14,381 crore SGST through regular settlements. After the settlement, the central government had earned Rs 46,454 crore in CGST as of January 2021, while the state government had earned Rs 48,385 crore in SGST.
Taking into account the revenue of the last five months, more GST has been collected this month. From January of the previous year, the GST of 8 per cent was collected in January 2021. Which is more than Rs 1.1 lakh crore. Revenue from imports increased by 16 percent during the month and revenues from domestic businesses by 6 percent.
The GST Revenue collection for January 2021 has been the highest since the introduction of GST, reaching Rs 1.2 lakh crore. This is more than Rs 1.15 lakh crore collected last month.
