During his official visit to Delhi, Odisha Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling met with Union Minister of State for AYUSH Prataprao Jadhav and proposed AIIA in the state. The minister formally suggested using the Challenge Method to construct an All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in Odisha.
Mahaling described the meeting’s specifics and stated that the top Center of Excellence will significantly improve medical tourism, research, and advanced treatment. He went on to say that it will close a vital healthcare gap in Eastern and Central India and change the AYUSH ecology in the area. During the meeting, the idea was presented to the Ayush Ministry.
