After Vikram Vedha’s box office failure, Hrithik Roshan modified the way he chooses screenplays for new film projects. The Krrish actor has also expressed that he will think again in the future before playing roles like that, having taken the opinions and criticism of his fans about that particular film and his performance very seriously. And it appears that’s the reason he’s chosen to withdraw from producer Madhu Mantena and director Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious project right now.

The director of Chhichhore wanted to bring the Hindu classic Ramayan to life on film, so he recruited Hrithik Roshan to play the Demon King Ravana. Ranbir Kapoor was chosen by the renowned director to play Shri Ram. However, following the criticism he received for Vikram Vedha, speculations are circulating that Duggu has declined the offer and is not interested in taking on the role of an enemy.

The Ramayan is one of the scripts that the Kannada superstar has already chosen. Ranbir Kapoor has already expressed interest in playing Ram in the film. However, the Shamshera actor has not yet signed the agreement. If everything goes according to Mantena and Tiwari’s plans, Ranbir and Yash will soon join Ramayan, giving viewers the chance to see the two biggest stars in the nation duke it out on the big screen.
