Tapan Kumar Swain, the Proprietor of Blue Circle Group is an inspiring personality, his 23 years of experience in the field of Electronics, Electricals & IT has made the Group strong. Many prestigious projects are well handled under his leadership and helped in bagging many Awards and reputation for the Group. His exposure visit to difference factories based in different countries is the key point of this model of Industries. His efforts, hard-work and honesty made this Brand reputed in pan India. Interview Times had a Conversation with Mr. Swain, below are the answers he responded to Interview Times Questionnaire :-
Q1. What motivated you to start Blue Circle?
Answer: Blue Circle name comes from Nilachakra of Lord Jaggannath. My brother-in-law who was Vice President (VP) in Birla Group, he motivated me to be an entrepreneur rather as a employee. On that time Govt. has a slogan “One thousand days & one thousand industries” & ELCO has boosting electronic entrepreneur to make Odisha as a electronic hub.
Q2. Was being an entrepreneur always there in your bucket list?
Answer: We have associated with industry association and have come across so many successfully entrepreneurs which inspires to be an true/successful entrepreneur and establish our brand name in and around PAN India.
Q3. You have more than 23 years experience in this field, what are the best lessons you have learn from these years?
Answer: The lessons we learn from our 23 years journey is quality, in time delivery, service after sales, dedicated team works as a family in team spirit & treating employees as a family member is the key point of our success.
Q4. What is your “Success Mantra”?
Answer: Our Success Mantra is satisfy customer in respect of quality cum price & service after sales. We try our best to satisfy our customer so that each customer build a chain customer & immense advertisement in the market is our pillar of success.
Q5. What tips would you like to give to our readers those who wants to be like you?
Answer: Honesty, quality and customer friendly can establish an entrepreneur for long term journey.
Q6. What challenges you have faced during setting-up your enterprise and how did you overcome them?
Answer: Electronics items are very changing by nature, every time it need alternation, addition, modernization in every stage as per market requirement time to time.
Q7. How did you manage your time?
Answer: I always try to give justice to my industry as well as try to settle all the matters in time bound manner. I give importance the value of times & in time execution of procurement of raw material, production & sales after service.
Q8. How many hours do you work regularly and what are your hobbies?
Answer: I work 10 hours dedicatedly to my profession and I also give priority to have an healthy & secure life. I have my own gym in my house with facilitation of equipment specially designed for regular exercise.
Q9. What are your future planning regarding your business?
Answer: We have an existence of 9 states in eastern India & planning to cover up the PAN India & simultaneously planning for export oriented product to have a good exporter from India. We are pleased to inform you that we have bagged a prestigious MSME award, FIEO award (The Federation of Indian Export Organizations) & simultaneously received the award of brand of Odisha pride of India for our Excellency in the year 2020-21.
