Q1) When did you set your first foot in writing ? Tell us about your initial experience .

Ans – The road of writing down my thoughts, from a youthful scribbler to a published author, has been an exciting one for me. When I had a piece on the Red Cross published in seventh grade, my writing enthusiasm took off, and in college it flowered into short stories. The next step was to start writing on management topics for reputable magazines. My book, “Monetising Innovation,” which was released by Bloomsbury, was the next big thing.

Q2) How did you decide the plot for Monetising Innovation ? Attach the link so that the readers can find your book .

Ans – In the book “Monetising Innovation,” an innovation framework is provided for enterprises to use in order to adapt to change. I had the concept for the book while working in relevant corporate roles and saw how difficult it was for many companies to continue to remain innovative. I intended to offer these institutions a methodical strategy for fostering innovation. As part of my Masters study at Oxford, I also had the honour of working with renowned innovation expert Marc Ventresca, Professor at Oxford. He had reviewed the book and also penned the foreword in addition to being the inspiration for me to write it. (https://amzn.eu/d/9PGNH5b)

Q3) Nalanda : Until we meet again is also a great curation by you .Tell us something about the book and attach the link for the readers to buy the book. Ans – In Nalanda, readers can join Neil on a breathless sprint across continents, where romance, excitement, action, adventure, and even rage are only the beginning of what lies in store during the voyage. Nalanda combines the elements of various genres, including romance, action, thriller, and suspense. As the eminent writer Ruskin Bond who launched Nalanda observed, Nalanda is like a movie in which readers will go through an engaging range of experiences and feelings. The story’s mystical components give it a thrilling edge that keeps readers engaged all the way to the finish. (https://amzn.eu/d/2lTiukx))

Q4) You have talked about your interest in Indian Scriptures , Mythology and History .Which is your favourite literature and why ?

Ans – I have a strong inclination towards the timeless wisdom contained within Vedic literatures, including the Vedic Samhitas, Brahmans, Aranyakas, Upanishads, Puranas, and Bhagavad Gita etc.

As someone who is deeply fascinated with Vedic literature, I believe that these timeless works hold the key to a fulfilling life. From the Vedic Samhitas and Brahmans to the Puranas and the Gita, these texts offer a wealth of knowledge that can help us achieve success, happiness, and contentment. In fact, even the best-selling book “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Steven Covey is based entirely on the principles outlined in The Gita. It’s unfortunate that we often overlook the value of our 5000+ year old knowledge heritage in favor of Western certifications. I strongly encourage everyone to delve into the wealth of knowledge contained in these works and discover the secrets of a fulfilling life.

Q5) Nowadays the youth often faces social media addiction where they spend long hours in their phone ? What are your views on this topic and how can it be cured ?

Ans – Technology has the potential for both positive and negative impact, depending on its usage. As with nuclear power, which has the capacity to both destroy and provide energy, mobile phones can have both positive and negative effects on our lives. To counteract the negative effects of screen time, I suggest being mindful of usage, setting limits, and actively engaging in positive habits such as exercise, reading, or music.

Q6) What would be your one advice to the youth of today ?

Ans – Success requires focus and determination. For the aspiring youths, here are three key steps to help you achieve your goals:

(a) Identify your purpose or passion and make that your guiding principle.

(b) As mentioned in the Geeta in the verse, कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन –  Take consistent and deliberate actions toward your goal, regardless of immediate outcomes.

(c) Persevere through obstacles, never losing faith that a better future awaits.
