Shri Arvind Kumar, Director General, STPI, inaugurated the new Electropreneur Park-Bhubaneswar Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) Lab facility at STPI ELITE, Bhubaneswar in the august presence of Shri Manas Panda, Director, STPI-Bhubaneswar, and Industry leaders including Dr. Satya Gupta, Founder & CEO, EPIC Foundation and President VLSI Society of India, Shri Pradip Thaker, Country.
The lab facility is outfitted with advanced equipment such as PCB prototyping, PCB SMT assembly line, Communication Testing, Optics, Agritech, and Drone testing facilities to assist innovators working in the Electronics domain in developing and testing their prototypes/products. Electropreneur Park-Bhubaneswar is one of the Entrepreneurship Centres established by STPI, which is supported by the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India, and the Department of E& IT, Government of Odisha, with IIIT,BBSR as an academic partner and India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) as an industry partner, as well as Plugin Alliance, Texas Instruments, NALCO, Excelpoint, NRDC, and others. It focuses on start-ups, academia, researchers, and innovators in the ESDM sector, providing them with Plug & Play incubation space, technical and strategic mentoring, funding assistance, and market connections, among other things. The advanced lab will take action.
