Just after the conclusion of the IPL, team India will play a 5 20 match series against South Africa in India. While all the senior players are to be rested as they will form another team and will fly to England to play 1 test 3 ODIs and 3 T20s, the T20 series is going to see some fresh freshes. Moreover, it has now been learnt that BCCI is planning to make all 5 five matches played at full crowd capacity.
While there are fewer COVID cases in India and no signs of the fourth wave, it is the ideal time for BCCI to make matches available to full crowd capacity. Fresh faces like Umran Malik, Moshin Khan, Ayush Badoni and Kuldeep Sen might feature in the squad. Also, new players like Prithvi Shaw, Gaikwad, Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan will also feature in the squad.
Meanwhile, as team India’s main coach Rahul Dravid will be with the main team in England, India will have a new coach in form of VVS Laxman who will guide India in the 5 20 series as well as the two T20 series in Ireland against Ireland.
