India will descend on the field to play their second T20 match against Australia on Sunday after a stunning victory in the first match. In the absence of all-rounder Rabindra Jadeja, India will have a tough time in the match. The team will try to avenge the day-to-day defeat of the Australians by winning their second T20I. Winning the T20 series before the Test series will boost the morale of the Indian team.

After winning the third ODI and the first T20 in Canberra, the Indian team is now back at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Here Australia won the first two ODI series. Yuzivendra Chahal, who played as an alternative due to a head injury in the first T20 match, played a key role in the team’s victory with 3 wickets in hand.

India will feel Jadeja’s absence in the lower order. Still, the team’s morale is high. In the last match, Jadeja played an unbeaten innings of 44 off 23 balls to take India to a good score. So in the second T20, Kohli hopes that the top 5 batsmen will bat so that they will not need to reach the bottom.

Australian star batsman David Warner is not fit. Captain Aaron Finch, on the other hand, is also not fully fit, which has become a matter of concern for Australia. D’ Arcy Short did not look easy when batting in the first T20 match. Although Steve Smith was a great batsman in Tests and ODIs, he has not been able to repeat that performance in T20I.

Captain Kohli has not been able to perform exceptionally well, which has had an impact on the team. The team expects a strong innings from him. It remains to be seen whether Manish Pandey will be included in the final XI in Sunday’s match. Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya have to take advantage in the last over. Australia, on the other hand, have included veteran Test expert Nathan Lyon in the T20I.
