Team India suffered a major setback in Australia’s second innings on the third day of the Melbourne Test. While bowling, fast bowler Umesh Yadav suffered muscle pains. As a result, he had to leave the field. He went to the dressing room.
Umesh Yadav was injured in the eighth over of Australia’s second innings. He had to leave the field after throwing the first three balls of the over. Then the remaining three balls were bowled by Mohammad Siraj.
The Indian team is said to be in for a big shock. Mohammad Sami has already been ruled out of the Test series due to injury. Ishant Sharma was injured before Sami. After Umesh’s injury, the team has only the option of Navdeep Saini.
