Indian team in whites is creating hsitroy after history. Apart from the sudden dip in the finals of World Test Championship, India in test cricket is probably the best team in the world now. After winning couple of series in Australia, breaching their fotress Gabba in 33 years, leading the test series in England, Team India has now the first test in South Africa that too in their fortess Centurion, a ground where RSA have never lost.
India batted extremely well in the first innings, despite a lower order collapse and posted a total of 327. KL rahul had a magnificent century and Mayank his opening partner too had a gritty half century. In reply, the Indian fast bowlers were ruthless especially the trio of Shami, Siraj and Bumrah.
The bowling unit rattled RSA for 197 and 191 in both the innings. Therefore, despite India scoring just 174 in the second innings, comfortably won the match by 113 runs. KL Rahul won the man of the match award. The next test match will be held on 3rd to 7th January.
