Luck seems to be always on the bad side for young spin alrounder of India Washington Sundar. After being sidelined for almost a year due to injury and COVID related issues, Washington Sundar was finally back for the India West Indies series. While he was impressive in the one day series, he was about to feature in the T20 series as well. However, in an unfortunate turn of events, Washington Sundar has got side hamstring injury and has been ruled out of the entire T20 series.
However, it is a golden chance for Kuldeep Yadav who has been added to the T20 squad as well. Kuldeep Yadav due to injury and bad form was also off the radar for nearly 6 months. However, he returned to the squad and played the last ODI against West Indies where he took 2 wickets. Now, he will look to get his rhythm back in the T20 series as well.
The T20 series will start from February 16th and will all the three T20 matches will be played in Kolkata.
